Even the Danube’s high water level this week couldn’t hold back excellent progress on Eurovea shopping centre’s expansion work. The successful concreting of the ceiling slab represents the completion of the reinforced concrete shopping centre’s shell, and green-lights work on the facade and filling structures. 2,500 m2 of steel structure is also being installed to continue the same stylish glazing as the original building. This is being implemented using a special spatial formwork, which incrementally moves in accordance with work progress. It will continue until the pillar - which is already visible. Supplier INGSTEEL, spol. s r.o. then glazes the structure with 1,732 triangular glass pieces, with the whole section forecast for completion by year-end.
Load-bearing system changes necessitated work on Pribinova X office building’s meter-thick ceiling slab - using 582 tons of iron, 2,100 m3 of concrete, and weighing 5,250 tons. Pribinova Y - the second office building in the under-construction Eurovea City zone - has reached its third floor.
Construction of Eurovea Tower progresses smoothly, with the fifth apartment floor completed and intensive work on the next two. The current height of the tower is 11 floors. An almost one square kilometre wind break protects the building construction from inclement weather – and also showcases names of the project’s key players. A unique 10-metre footbridge designed for conveying material from supplier PERI spol. s r.o. is one of the largest in Central Europe due to its 5.5-metre protrusion. Construction of the skyscraper is progressing at "standard" pace for our projects, i.e. one floor every 11 days. Notwithstanding unexpected hiccups, the first Slovak skyscraper should reach its final dizzying height in just 15 months.
Two-thirds of Riverside’s residential extension has been completed, with windows and facades now being installed and visible from the Danube side. All work on this extensive building project continues on schedule.
